Overview
Cycle to Cristian village, where you will visit the charming streets and admire the unique old Saxon houses, most of them dating back to the 1800s. Once we reach the center, we will visit the evangelic fortified church, built in the 12th-13th century.
After a brief history lesson, we will continue our tour with a fast stretch of paved road towards Vulcan, where we will tackle our first climb of the day, a 4-kilometer twisting road towards the village of Holbav.
During the climb, feel free to stop and admire the stunning scenery and the mountains. Once we reach Holbav, we can stop at a local shop for refreshments and exit the village. We will ride along the river, through a picturesque valley, saluting the villagers who are working the land.
Here, at a local household, we will enjoy a well-deserved traditional lunch at a local household. In the end, we'll descend back to Vulcan and end the tour in Brasov.

What to expect
Explore on a e-bike the rolling hills of typical scattered Transylvanian villages near Brasov.
In the morning, you will meet the guide in Brasov and start the cycling trip to the village of Cristian, with its Saxon architecture and 13th-century fortified church, which will be your first visit of the day. Continue towards Vulcan and prepare for the first climb of the day, overlooking the beautiful landscape.
Once in the scattered village of Holbav, it is time to test your limits. We will climb to the high plateau and admire the stunning scenery. We will reach the foothills of the Magura Codlei hill, where we will enjoy a delicious traditional lunch in a local household. In the end, we will get back to Brasov, enjoying the downhill and the tranquility of the evening.
